Planting & Growing Hemp

Seedling starters or seeds are planted in rows. Full season hemp grows for about 100 days and is grown organically without herbicides or pesticides. Plants get to be 6 feet wide x 6 feet tall. Autoflower hemp varieties have a much smaller physical size (3x3'). However, the plant population can be increased to help make up for yield totals.

Harvesting & Drying Hemp

After the plant has reached peak maturity, we cut and dry the hemp to about a 10% moisture content. Industrial dryers, built by Grain Handler, are used to dry the hemp (now called biomass). The biomass gets milled to our specifications and frozen to at least -20 degrees C before it is delivered into the extraction system.

We process our own hemp using closed loop cryogenic ethanol. A centrifuge soaks, spins and filters producing super saturated cannabinoid rich ethanol. The hemp/ethanol is decarboxylated, winterized and filtered 3 times before it exits as “crude oil”. Removing the ethanol by evaporation without degrading the extracted compounds is done in our steam heated still. The distillation is initiated using wiped film under vacuum and heat to remove impurities and further filter a minimum of 2 times. This process is used to purify specific cannabinoids and create rich full spectrum products. What is left is known as golden küribl distillate.

Our kuribl products contain our very own ‘seed to you’ cannabinoid rich oils. The first time our products leave our facility is the first time that hemp leaves our property! Complete chain of custody is absolutely assured this way. After we complete testing to ensure the products are up to our standards we send everything to a 3rd party accredited lab for a COA (certificate of analysis).
